RATES & INSURANCE

Individual sessions are $140 per session and up for a 50-minute session

Practicum student sessions are $85 per 50-minute session.

Couples sessions are $240 per session for a 90-minute session.

Rates depend upon the practitioner that you are working with.  

Sliding Scale Available:

HML Wellness Solutions offers a compassionate approach to mental health care, including sliding-scale therapy when available.

Sliding-scale or reduced-rate sessions may be available for low-income earners seeking individual therapy. Clients who are looking for this option are welcome to contact us to ask about availability.

Direct Billing & Insurance

We offer direct billing through several insurance providers and programs.

 

TELUS eClaims, including:

  • Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance

  • Canada Life

  • Manulife

  • Crime Victim Assistance Program, also known as CVAP

  • First Nations Health Authority

ICBC Recovery Network

HML Counselling Solutions is part of the ICBC Recovery Network. If you have been in a motor vehicle accident, you may be eligible for counselling coverage through ICBC.

Coverage may vary depending on your clinician and insurance provider. Many extended health and employee benefit plans cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Registered Social Worker.

We recommend confirming the following with your provider before booking:

  • Do I have mental health or counselling benefits?

  • What is my coverage limit per session or per year?

  • Do I need to meet a deductible first?

  • Are services from a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Social Worker eligible?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

 

Many employers also offer coverage through benefits packages and extended health plans that may partially, or fully, cover the cost of your sessions.

 

Please check your individual coverage plan to confirm the extent of your coverage.

Please note that some Employee and Family Assistance Program referrals must come directly through the program provider. Clients may not always be able to contact us directly to access these services.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call or email us at least 48 hours in advance. If it is outside of office hours, please leave a voicemail message.

​

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, or if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
